This is a request to change the name of the 1800 block of Holland Street (east of David Daniels Elementary) to Harrison-Hill Street. Ms. Portia Williams-Duncan has proposed this name to honor Margie Harrison and Romie Hill, founders of first Dalworth School at Beaumont and 19^th St.

To change the name of a public street requires notification of affected property owners and a public hearing before City Council. The name change would affect 20 properties and approximately 16 homes on the north and south sides of Holland St.

At its May 13, 2019 meeting, the City Council Development Committee voted to proceed with contacting neighbors regarding the proposed change.
