Analysis
As part of the City's Capital Improvement Projects Budget, a contract was approved on February 5, 2019 (19-8621) in the amount of $441,125.00 for the annual price agreement for Iron T. Construction to provide drainage ditch improvements. For budgetary reasons the Tasks will be broken down over the timeframe of the contract.
The current purchase order utilizing the previously awarded price agreement is for Task 1. Services include but are not limited to ditch excavation/shaping, storm drain pipe/culvert installation, end treatments, structural work, rip rap, the removal and replacement of concrete/asphalt driveway for necessary culverts and other field related work. The completed project will provide improved drainage for the area of Vineyard Road.
Financial Consideration
Funding in the amount of $133,002.00 is available as follows:
1. $75,000 is available in Storm Drainage Capital Projects Fund (401592) W.O. #01907203 (FY19 Bar Ditch Improvements) PO#353787.
2. $58,002 is available by appropriating and transferring from the unobligated fund balance of Storm Drainage Capital Improvement Projects Fund to W.O. #01907203 (FY19 Bar Ditch Improvements)
