Analysis
Lake Parks was approved to install additional WiFi at Loyd Park in the FY 2018/2019 Capital Improvement Projects. Working through our IT Department, we received quotes for WiFi equipment and installation in the amount of $42,904.40 from Flair Data Systems, six wooden poles in the amount of $4,938.00 from Techline, and electrical installation from Ed’s Electric in the amount of $7,500.00 for a project total of $55,342.40. We issued a purchase order in the amount of $42,904.40 to Flair Data Systems so the equipment could be ordered and are now looking to purchase the remaining items which will exceed the City Manager's approval threshold of $50,000.
