The City leases space inside the terminal at the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport to Jorge Martinez and Nataly Alvarez to operate a food and beverage facility known as the Radial Cafe. Due to the effects of governmental orders and declarations in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the lessees' ability to operate and generate income as anticipated under the lease has been restricted. The proposed amendment will grant a temporary rent abatement until normal operations can be resumed.
