Analysis
It is the intent to obtain an annual price agreement for the purchase of rescue dive gear for the city of Grand Prairie Fire Department.
Notice of bid #20108 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Public Purchase; it was distributed to 17 vendors. There were no Grand Prairie vendors submitting for this commodity. One bid was received as shown on attachment A.
The low bid received from International Scuba meets specifications and is recommended for award.
Financial Consideration
Funding for a price agreement for scuba gear is available in the FY 2020/2021 General Fund Budget, Fire Department (291210) 60510 (Tools and Equipment), and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year. Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year’s approved budgets.
