Analysis

The purpose of this agreement is to provide City reimbursement of eligible construction expenses for the widening of Ragland Road from State Highway 360 (SH360) to the Lloyd Park entrance from an existing two-lane asphalt roadway to a five-lane concrete roadway with drainage and utility improvements.  The project also improves a 500-foot section of Day Miar Road south of Ragland Road from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a concrete three-lane roadway with curb and gutter.

City shall pay all projects costs, construction agreement administration, site review, permitting and inspection.

This project is funded by the City of Grand Prairie and the Tarrant County Commissioners Court through the 2006 Tarrant County Bond Program.

This agreement will conclude on September 30, 2021 unless terminated sooner per Section XI of the agreement or upon completion of the Project as determined by the County.

Financial Consideration

Any City funding needed for this interlocal agreement with Tarrant County.
