Analysis
BABOL, INC., a Texas corporation, has requested a license to park on City right-of-way at 2310, 2314, 2316 and 2318 Poulin Avenue (See attached Exhibit “A” for approved site plan).
City Ordinance No. 10857-2020 passed June 2, 2020, allowed a major auto repair and auto body/ paint booth in a Light Industrial District. Approval of this license will allow continued parking on City right-of-way at 2310, 2314, 2316 and 2318 Poulin Avenue in order for the applicant to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy. (See attached Exhibit “B” for aerial map of the parking area).
All utilities have approved the use of the right of way for parking. At the request of the property owner’s representative, the license will have a 29-year term with either party having the right to terminate upon written notice.
Staff recommends approval of the license agreement.
Financial Consideration
Revenue: $500 which is the recommended one time only charge for the 29-year term license in addition to the application fee of $100
