Appraisal completed by State certified appraiser. Appraised value of the property is $165,000.
Offer made to property owners on January 19, 2017. The property owners were very pleased with the offer and were relieved they can now look for other houses.
They plan to stay in Grand Prairie, but may rent for a while to find a satisfactory house.
The property owners wanted to search the market for a couple of weeks and decide if they will rent or be able to locate a house. After that time, they will come back and sign the sales agreement.
Owners know the City will not pay for renting an interim use house or apartment, City will not pay moving expenses or pay for repairs to the replacement house they locate.
