This project was approved for acquisition by negotiation or condemnation on the September 20, 2016, City Council Agenda for FY 2016/2017 Capital Improvement Projects.
The owner of the tract of land at the Northeast corner of Great Southwest Parkway and Forum Drive (RJ Grand Prairie K8 I) (Athlos Academies K8 Charter School) has subsequently agreed to sell a Temporary Construction Easement containing 0.224 acre (9,757 s.f) for $1,951. This amount is the appraised value of the easement. The City will pay all title insurance expenses and closing costs (see attached signed Sales Agreement).
Financial Consideration
Funding in the not to exceed amount of $4,000 is available in Street Capital Projects Fund (400192) WO #01605701 (GSW Sara Jane/Mayfield STRT)
