Price agreement for original manufacturer repair services for Ford Vehicles with Westway Ford as primary vendor and Grand Prairie Ford, L.P as the secondary vendor at an estimated annual cost of $50,000 for one year with the option to renew for four additional one year periods totaling $250,000.00 if all extensions are exercised, and authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City’s obligation during the renewal terms

Vendors will provide OEM diagnostic, maintenance, parts, and repair services to the City’s Ford fleet.
Notice of bid #18101 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the State's Electronic Business Daily, and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 244 vendors. There were two Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Two bids were received as shown on Attachment A.
The low bid received from Westway Ford meets specifications and is recommended for award.

The secondary vendor, Grand Prairie Ford, L.P., will only be used if the primary vendor cannot fulfill the needs of the City.
Financial Consideration
Funds are available in FY 2017/2018 budget 225510-63195 for cost of outside labor and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year. Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that years approved budgets.
