Price agreement with Centerline Supply, Inc. for the purchase of protective overlay film, high intensity sheeting and spot color inks to be used with The Traffic Jet Print System (up to $53,524 annually) for one year with the option to renew for four additional one year periods totaling $177,620 if all extensions are exercised, and authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal term(s)

This contract is for the purchase of the Avery Dennison OL-100 Series protective overlay film, high intensity micro-prismatic retro-reflective sheeting and specially formulated spot color inks.
The OL-100 overly film is coated with a transparent pressure sensitive adhesive which acts as an effective barrier to protect the underlying sign graphic from damage such as graffiti or stickers and is designed for applications over digitally printed traffic signs. The T-6000 HIP series high intensity sheeting provides a high level of retro-reflectivity for traffic control situations. This film incorporates micro-prisms in order to provide uniform daytime and nighttime visual appearance and performance from every angle. The spot inks are specially formulated to meet standard traffic colors and are specially designed for use with the Traffic Jet 1638 Print System.
Notice of bid #19027 was viewed by 19 vendors. There was one Grand Prairie vendor available for this commodity. There were two responses received as shown on Attachment A.
The low bid received from Centerline Supply, Inc. meets specifications and is recommended for award.
Financial Consideration
Funds are available in FY 2018/2019 General Operating Funds budget 251910 (Signs/Markings), 63115 (Signs/Markings Maintenance) and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year. Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year's approved budgets.
