Analysis
This Standard Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Utility Agreement will provide for the relocation of 825 LF of 8”Wastewater main, 765 LF of 24” Waterline in conflict with proposed Eastbound Frontage Road of IH 20; also it provides for 32 LF 42” Split Steel Casing by open-cut over an existing 30” Waterline at the intersection of Westbound Frontage Road of IH-20 and Carrier Parkway.
All costs associated with this work will be funded by TxDOT with direct costs of Engineering/Project Management ($8,750), construction inspection ($21,120), clerical/administrative ($5,250) and materials testing ($20,988) to be paid by the City and reimbursed by TxDOT upon completion.
Financial Consideration
Indirect costs of $901,445, direct costs of $56,108 and reimbursements from TxDOT will be accounted for in the City's Grant Fund (300596) 36517026 (I20 Utility Relocations).

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (TXDOT) FOR THE RELOCATION/ADJUSTMENTS ALONG INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 20 FRONTAGE ROADS FROM SH 161/LAKERIDGE PARKWAY TO FM 1382/BELTLINE ROAD
Whereas, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will reimburse the City of Grand Prairie for costs of utility relocation/adjustments along Interstate Highway 20 Frontage Roads from SH 161/Lakeridge Parkway to FM 1382/Beltline Road
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas that:
Section 1. the Grand Prairie City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the relocation/adjustments along Interstate Highway 20 frontage roads from SH 161/Lakeridge Parkway to FM 1382/Beltline Road;
Section 2. all costs associated with this work for an estimated amount of $957,553 will be funded by TxDOT.
