Consider a final plat to establish a 264 -unit multifamily development on one lot on 14.62 acres.  The property is generally located on the southeast corner of Dechman Drive and Fish Creek Drive. The 14.62 acres property is located in the Thomas J. Stone Survey, Abstract No. 1460 and is generally located at the southeast corner of Dechman Drive and Fish Creek Drive. Zoned Planned Development-19 (PD-19) District, and lies within the Interstate 20 (I-20) Overlay Corridor District.  The property is located in City Council District 2, represented by Councilman Jim Swafford.

COMMENTS:

 

The Planning & Zoning Commission (June 5, 2017) and City Council (June 20, 2017) authorized a site plan for a 264-unit multifamily residential development on the above referenced property.  A preliminary plat was approved by the Commission in January 2018.  The associated final plat shall establish the boundaries and dedicate the necessary easements and required rights-of-way to accommodate the development of the property and associated public improvements.

 

RECOMMENDATION

The Development Review Committee recommends approval
