HISTORY:
The original Mountain Lakeview Addition’s development dates back to the early 1930’s. As part of a 320-acre residential subdivision, streets and public infrastructure, block & lot configuration were laid out in typical grid fashion.
Mid 1950’s, a single family residential home was built on the referenced property. The 1,500 square foot single story ranch-style frame house would occupy the adjacent two lots abutting the west as part of their homestead. The two adjacent lots extended to Collins Street (Rights’-of-way). The street was never extended and was eventually abandoned. Therefore, in addition to establishing the two lots for residential development, this replat will incorporate that abandoned right-of-way.
PLAT FEATURES:
The two new lots will be 8.028 square feet in size each, 60’ width and 138’ in depth. The lots comply with Single Family-Four (SF-4) density and dimensional standards of the Unified Development Code (UDC).
RECOMMENDATION:
The Development Review Committee (DRC) recommends approval.
