PURPOSE OF REQUEST:
The purpose of the request is to replace 13 existing parking stalls with 10 proposed pick up stalls within a Planned Development District.
CONFORMANCE WITH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN:
The 2010 Comprehensive Plan’s Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designates this area as Commercial.
USE CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTION:
Wal-Mart is proposing to replace 13 existing parking stalls with 10 proposed pick up stalls within a Planned Development District. The proposed pickup stalls will allow Wal-Mart employees to deliver groceries to the customers once the order and pick up time has been scheduled through an online order. The applicant has worked with staff to provide stone cladding on the canopy posts consistent with the regulations of the Unified Development Code.
RECOMMENDATION:
DRC recommends approval.
At its April 2, 2018 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to approve this item on consent.
