This contract will be for all departments to utilize from the purchase of a mass notification system on an as needed basis.
Service Summary: Everbridge Mass Notification allows users to send notifications to individuals or groups using lists, locations, and visual intelligence. Everbridge Mass Notification is supported by state-of-the-art security protocols, an elastic infrastructure, advanced mobility, interactive reporting and analytics, adaptive people and resource mapping to mirror our organization, and true enterprise class data management capabilities to provide a wide array of data management options.
Services include:
• Unlimited Administrators for web-based portal to initiate messages, reporting, and administration
• Custom branded community opt-in portal with custom fields and opt-in subscriptions
• Severe weather alerting from the National Weather Service
• Voice and text/SMS delivery to multiple communication devices
• Geo-Calling feature lets you target recipients using a map
• 24/7/365 proactive Client Care support
• Unlimited use for a fixed, annual fee
• Multi-language text to speech engine and custom voice recording
• Everbridge basic conference bridge calling
• Fully hosted and managed Software as a Service
• Message delivery tracking with comprehensive reporting
Chapter 271.102 of the Local Government Code authorizes local governments to participate in a cooperative purchasing program with another local government or local cooperative organization. In lieu of competitive bidding, items and services may be purchased through such agreements as the agreements have already been bid by the sponsoring entity or agency. The City of Grand Prairie has master inter-local cooperative agreements with various entities including GSA Advantage.

The GSA contract GS-35F-0692P began July 19, 2004 and will expire July 18, 2024.
This item is expected to be presented and passed through the Finance and Government Committee on September 3, 2019 and the Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee September 9, 2019. If approved, the item will be placed on the City Council agenda for final approval on September 17, 2019.
