Analysis
The City operates its Public Safety software under a master license agreement obtained through Ramundsen Superior Holdings, DBA Superion LLC . The software provides various services to City personnel including Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management System, Jail Management System, and Mobile Computing for the Police and Fire Departments. The annual maintenance agreement for FY 2017/2018 is $229,589.37.
Ramundsen Superior Holdings DBA Superion LLC was originally SunGard Public Sector, Inc prior to the company being acquired by the former. The City originally published a Request for Information (RFI) # 12071 in which SunGard was awarded the contract for annual software maintenance on the City's Public Safety Software system. This contract was executed on September 18th, 2013 for an initial 12 month term with renewals automatically renewed on a year-to-year basis unless terminated in accordance with the initial contract.
Financial Consideration
Funding for the Annual software maintenance agreement with Ramundsen Superior Holdings, DBA Superion LLC an amount not to exceed $229,589.37 is available in the FY 2017/2018 General Fund Operating Budget, Information Technology (151010) Computer Software Maintenance (63165).
