In order for construction to continue in a productive fashion while maintaining the current overall schedule geotechnical information regarding the existing site is critical to obtain and provide to the construction inspectors to review for compliance with the City standards.
A final/fully detailed fee proposal in the total amount of $64,063.90 was received by The City of Grand Prairie on March 11, 2019 and was reviewed by City staff and determined to be complete and appropriate for the scope of the work required.
Chapter 252, Section 22 of the Local Government Code allows for the exemption to competitive bidding when the expenditure is for Professional Services such as geotechnical engineering services.
