Analysis
The Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA), a conservation and reclamation district of the State of Texas, is constructing a wastewater pipeline segment identified as the Mountain Creek Relief Interceptor, Segments MC-7 and MC-8 Project. The project consists of installing relief sanitary sewer pipeline generally parallel to an existing pipeline. The pipeline begins east of Carrier Parkway, extending generally southwest to Interstate Highway 20, and continuing slightly southwest to approximately Great Southwest Parkway in Grand Prairie.
For this construction project, the Authority needs to acquire a 0.0663-acre permanent sanitary sewer easement and a 0-394-acre temporary construction easement on City of Grand Prairie property. These easements are described on the easement document enclosed.
The Authority respectfully requests the dedication of these necessary easement for the completion of the project. The area will be restored to preconstruction condition once construction is complete.

No funding is required for this agenda item and the city will receive no funds from TRA.
