Analysis
The Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 363, Crime Control and Prevention Districts, requires the governing body of the political subdivision that created the district to hold a public hearing on the proposed CCPD budget and adopt the budget. The CCPD budgeted revenue includes sales tax revenue, reimbursement from GPISD, and grant participation funds. The CCPD budgeted expenditures include personnel services and one-time equipment purchases for FY 2017/2018.
