Analysis

This property was struck off to the taxing jurisdictions by Sheriff’s Deed for delinquent taxes, penalties, interest and court costs.   The City advertised one foreclosure property for sale by sealed bids with a bid opening on July 18, 2019, (see attached map for location).  Responsive bids were received, as follows:

This item will authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute a quitclaim deed to the successful bidder for 502 Piccadilly Unit 162 at the respective purchase price.

 

Financial Consideration

This property is currently off the tax rolls.  After the sale, it will return to the tax rolls and the new owner will be responsible for maintenance.
