Analysis

The City is upgrading security in various areas around the City. Following the recommendations of a security consultant, we are implementing in stages an access control and alarm monitoring system and video surveillance system in City Hall. The equipment and installation service will be provided by Knight Security under DIR State Purchasing Contract #SDD-1725 in the amount of $137,179.92.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding for the security equipment from Knight Security in the amount of $137,179.92 is available in the FY 2014/2015 Risk Management Fund (212010-61560).
