Analysis
In the last legislature, Section 438.046 of the Texas Health and Safety Code was amended to require all local health jurisdictions to accept food handler cards from accredited providers. Changes to this ordinance reflect changes in the Senate Bill and in addition, some language has been updated to reflect new terminology.
