Analysis
The property at 1937 El Paso was struck-off to the City in September of 2011, and 1810 Beaumont was struck-off in November 2011, as trustee for the taxing jurisdictions, for delinquent taxes, penalties, interest and court costs. This item will authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute quitclaim deeds to the Grand Prairie Community Housing Development Organization in exchange for the City's payment of the full amount of the taxes due plus post judgment taxes and court costs, not to exceed $21,000.00. The taxing jurisdictions will share in the proceeds on a prorate basis.
