Analysis
The Texas Department of Transportation - Aviation Division (TxDOT-Aviation) has prepared a list of airports that would benefit from a wildlife hazard assessment study. Grand Prairie Municipal Airport (GPM) was included on the list and selected to receive a grant for the assessment. Financial Consideration
If a grant is awarded by TxDOT-Aviation, Airport staff will present an ordinance appropriating the matching funds. It is anticipated the award will be $100,000 with the City's portion being ten percent (10%) or $10,000.
