Analysis

This agreement is for tent and event set up rentals for the City of Grand Prairie.  These services shall include but not limited to providing, installing and tear down tents of multiple sizes as well as tables, chairs portable bars, large troughs, white panel picket fence with sandbags and gate.  The rentals will be for specific listed occasions as well as on an as needed basis. The tents will be located at multiple locations throughout the City of Grand Prairie, TX.  The six specific occasions will be Parks & Recreation’s Main Street Fest and the Flight of the Monarch; The Landfill’s GPISD student tours and their internal Thanksgiving celebration; and Memorial Garden’s Sudden Infant Death (SID) ceremony and their Candlelight Ceremony.

Notice of bid #18011 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to eight vendors. There was one Grand Prairie vendor available for this commodity.  Two bids were received as shown on attachment A.

The low bid received from Rental Stop meets specifications and is recommended for award.
