Analysis
As part of the Cedar Creek and Prairie Creek Drainage Master Plans, erosion studies were performed making recommendations for improvements to provide public benefit by keeping the creek in check by providing armoring for the creek with rock rip-rap or other means designed to keep the creek from eroding at critical points. The Cedar Creek Study also identified 5 sanitary sewer crossings that need to be improved to keep them from eroding, included as part of this project.
The City has requested Proposal from Halff Associates to perform the design for this work. The total cost for this work is $198,380 to include surveying, design , bidding and construction services.
The design work is scheduled to be completed by March 2013 with construction services to follow.
