Analysis

This project was approved for acquisition by negotiation or condemnation on the September 20, 2016, City Council Agenda for Capital Improvement Projects 2017/2018.  The school district  has agreed to sell the permanent right-of-way containing 0.154 acre (6,711 s.f.), permanent slope easement containing 0.222 acre (9,690 s.f.) and temporary construction easement containing 0.356 acre (15,505 s.f) for a total amount of  $47,718.  This amount is reasonable considering appraised value, time and court costs.  The City will pay all title insurance expenses and closing costs (see attached signed sales agreement).

 

Financial Consideration

Funding is not to exceed the amount of $52,000 that is available in Streets Capital Projects Fund (400192) WO#01707201 (GSW Sara Jane/forum STRT) 68091
