Price agreement for 3M reflective sheeting through an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Fort Worth, at an annual estimated cost of $30,000 for one year with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods totaling $120,000 if all extensions are exercised and authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal term(s)

Analysis
This price agreement will be utilized for the purchase of reflective sheeting used in the fabrication of traffic control signs from the 3M Company in the estimated annual of $30,000.
State purchasing laws, Government Code, Chapter 271.102 authorize local governments to enter into joint contracts and cooperative agreements for the performance of governmental functions normally associated with the operation of government such as purchasing necessary materials and supplies.
The City maintains a master interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Worth whereby the City could make use of all of that entities agreement(s). This communication is to notify the Council that staff would like to make use of this particular agreement and enter into an annual contract with the 3M Company for reflective sheeting for the initial one-year term and any/all of the three optional one-year renewals as executed by the City of Fort Worth and the 3M Company.
Financial Consideration
Funds are available in FY 2016/2017 General Funds budget within Signs/Markings Maintenance (251910-63115) and will be charged accordingly for orders through the end of the current fiscal year. Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year's approved budgets.
