Analysis
This Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Project Utility Adjustment Agreement will provide for abandonment of 300 linear feet of existing 8 inch water line and associated appurtenances, the relocation of a fire hydrant, and the installation of 40 linear feet of 6 inch water line located south of Eden Road, west of the south bound frontage road, and between SH 360 Main Lane from under future pavement and in conflict with the 360 Project.
There will be a final true-up after the project is complete to make any adds or deletes to the final cost based on final quantities.
Construction for the abandonment of City of Grand Prairie water utilities is expected to begin in fall of 2017 with a duration of approximately 3 months to complete this work depending on weather.
Project eligibility ratio is 50% City participation. Cost is estimated at $46,545 with City participation being $23,272.50
Financial Consideration
Funding in the amount of $23,272.50 is available as follows:
1. $23,273 is available by approving an ordinance and appropriating and transferring from the unobligated fund balance in the Water Capital Projects Fund (500592) to WO #01714003 (360 Extension Eden Road)
