Analysis

This contract provides for professional engineering and surveying services to prepare Final Design plans for Intersection Improvements at the following locations:

 

                                          Lone Star Parkway/ S. Beltline Road- Design of Additional Northbound Right turn lane , Improvement to Pedestrian Crossing route and traffic signal modification.

                                          Great southwest Parkway /Lake Ridge Parkway- Design of Improvements to Right turn Capacity along Southbound Great Southwest Parkway.

                                          W Jefferson Street /S Carrier Parkway- ADA Improvements to Pedestrian Traffic.                     

 

Estimated Schedule

Proposed design is scheduled to begin in February 2019 with completion in August 2019.

 

Chapter 252, Section 22 of the Local Government Code allows for the exemption to competitive bidding when the expenditure is for Professional Services such as engineering and surveying services.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding in the total amount of $273,420 is available in Street Capital Projects Fund (400192) W.O.#01907803 )FY19 Intersection Improvements TRANS
