The City is required by state statutes to do an impact fee study every five (5) years, conduct a public hearing and either set new impact fees or affirm the existing fees.
This item sets the public hearing date for January 24, 2017.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE OF JANUARY 24, 2017 FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER IMPACT FEES.
Whereas, the City is required to conduct a public hearing prior to adoption of new or re-affirmation of Water &Wastewater Impact Fees and;
Whereas, the City has completed the requisite study prior to such hearing and;
WHEREAS, the study has been duly presented to the Impact Fee Advisory Committee and the Committee has made its' recommendations and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas that:
Section 1. A Public Hearing to hear comments on the proposed Water & Wastewater Impact Fees in hereby called for on January 24, 2017 in conjunction with the regular City Council meeting on that date.
