Analysis

The widening of Great Southwest Parkway from I-20 to Mayfield Road was approved for acquisition by negotiation or condemnation on the September 20, 2016, City Council Agenda 16-6054 for Capital Improvement Projects 2017/2018. The dedications of street right-of-way parcel (2,175 square feet) and permanent utility easement (7,779 square feet) are needed in connection with the proposed widening of South Great Southwest Parkway in Tarrant County.  (See attached property descriptions.)


These parcels are located on the west side of Great Southwest Parkway along Prairie Creek.

 

This item will authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the needed right-of-way deed and easement for recording in the Tarrant County Real Property Records.
