Contract for the purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the new Grand Prairie City Hall Complex in the amount of $284,683.44 from Interior Resources Group (a Kimball International authorized dealer), through a national interlocal agreement with OMNIA Partners Cooperative; and a second contract for the purchase of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the new Grand Prairie City Hall Complex in the amount of $595,102.95 from Wilson Office Interiors, through national interlocal agreements with OMNIA Partners, NCPA, BuyBoard, and TIPS-USA; additionally $5,000 will be spent at Living Spaces for leather lounge furniture bringing the total expenditure to $884,786.39.

Analysis
On October 16, 2018, City Council approved an initial FF&E budget allowance for the new Grand Prairie City Hall Complex (18-8351) in the amount of $923,000. This request is to approve the expenditure of $884,786.39 leaving a remaining balance $38,213.61.
These FF&E Contracts are divided as follows:
1) $284,683.44 - Interior Resources Group/Kimball International, Inc.
2) $595,102.95 - Wilson Office Interiors
3) $5,000.00 - Living Spaces
Chapter 271.102 of the Local Government Code authorizes local governments to participate in a cooperative purchasing program with another local government or local cooperative organization. In lieu of competitive bidding, items and services may be purchased through such agreements as the agreements have already been bid by the sponsoring entity or agency. The City of Grand Prairie has master inter-local cooperative agreements with various entities including OMNIA Partners, NCPA, BuyBoard, and TIPS-USA.
