Analysis
Texas Department of Transportation has let the construction of Lake Ridge Pkwy from IH20 to Great Southwest Pkway. City of Grand Prairie is entering into a partnership agreement with TxDOT for traffic signal construction along Lake Ridge Pkwy extension. City will purchase the required equipment which consist of video detection cameras, Opticom detectors, and install intersection turn lane signs and markings for four new traffic signals at Lake Ridge at Great Southwest Pkwy, Lake Ridge at Polo, Lake Ridge at Matthew, and Lake Ridge at Bardin for a total amount of $136,993.
Financial Consideration
Funding in the amount of $136,993 is available by transferring and appropriating from the unobligated fund balance in the Street Capital Project Fund (400192), WO #08802103 (Lake Ridge extension from GSW to IH20 ).
