Price Agreement for landscaping maintenance from High Quality Landscape of Dallas (up to $42,576 annually) for one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods totaling $212,880 if all extensions are exercised and authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City’s obligation during the renewal terms

Analysis
This contract is for landscaping maintenance to include mowing, irrigation system inspections and repairs, minor vegetation replacement and mulching of designated areas at the Kirby Creek Nature Center, Prairie Paws Adoption Center, Environmental Field Office and Grand Prairie Landfill.
Notice of bid #19005 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the State's Electronic Business Daily, and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 24 vendors. There was one Grand Prairie vendor available for this commodity. Two bids were received as shown on attachment A.
The award was based on best value criteria set up in the specification, including price, experience, references and past relationships with the City and other government entities.
High Quality Landscape of Dallas meets specifications and is recommended for award.
Financial Consideration
Funding for landscaping maintenance is available in the FY 2018/2019 Solid Waste (303510) 61485 Miscellaneous Services, FY 2018/2019 General Fund Animal Services for Prairie Paws Adoption Center (301110) 63010 Buildings and Grounds Maintenance and FY 2018/2019 General Fund Environmental Services (303010) 63010 Buildings and Grounds Maintenance and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year.
