Analysis

This drainage improvement project was approved as part of the Capital Improvement Projects Budget FY 2016/2017.

 

this drainage easement (See Exhibit "B" for location) is required for the Cottonwood Creek culvert improvements at Marshall Drive and Robinson Road.

 

The owner, Rawjee Holdings, LLC, has agreed to sell a drainage easement containing 2.649 acres (115,370 s.f.) for $51,920 (See Exhibit "A" for property description). The value is comparable to similar properties in the area.  The City will pay all closing costs.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding for the Drainage Easement Acquisition for the Cottonwood Creek Drainage Improvement Project, Robinson Road at marshall Drive, is available in the amount not to exceed $55,000 is available in Storm Drainage Capital Projects Fund (401592) WO#0156003 (Marshall & Robinson & Cottonwood Creek).
