Contract with Tyler Technologies for one year with the option to renew for four (4) annual terms, a sole source provider, for annual maintenance of proprietary hardware and software in the estimated annual amount not to exceed $110,653.60 and with a grand total of $595,793.46 and authorize the City Manager to execute any additional renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal terms

Analysis
Authorize the City to pay Tyler Technologies (Municipal Court) a sole source provider, for annual maintenance of proprietary hardware and software. The annual fee for FY 2017/2018 is $110,653.60. The software is used for the daily operating of the municipal court and includes hardware and software support for 120 handheld ticketwriters that are used daily by the Police Department.
This contract will be for an initial one year term with four additional one-year renewal terms available and will expire September 30, 2018. Each annual renewal term will increase 5% from the previous term.
Financial Consideration
Funding for the annual hardware and software support with Tyler Technologies is available in the FY 2017/2018 Genderal Fund Budget, Information Technology (151010-63165).
