In an offer letter (see offer letter attached as Exhibit “A) dated April 27, 2016, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) (see attached Exhibit “B” for aerial map) has made an offer to acquire a Temporary Construction Easement to Johnson Creek for an access point to do repair work to the north bound lanes of SH 360, Grand Prairie, Tarrant County, Texas. The temporary construction easement is for a period not to exceed forty-eight (48) months. All floodplain requirements and approvals have been obtained.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF 0.0294 ACRE OF LAND FOR A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT TO THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AT SH 360 AND JOHNSON CREEK; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DELEGATE TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN ANY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE THE CONVEYANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, an offer by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has been made to purchase a temporary construction easement containing 0.0294 acre (1,281sf) in Grand Prairie, Tarrant County, Texas, for a maximum term of forty-eight (48) months required for access to Johnson Creek in order to re-grade the toe of the slope on SH 360 north bound frontage road; and
WHEREAS, an offer (property description attached as Exhibit “A” for resolution) has been made to acquire this temporary construction easement for the amount of $1,000; and
