On May 9, 2008, the City awarded an engineering services contract in the amount of $49,100 to Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan (PBS&J), Inc. for the Lynn Creek Environmental Impact Study.
The Environmental Impact Study was completed and forwarded to the Corps of Engineers for their review. Upon reviewing the information, the Corps of Engineers asked that additional study be performed for Wildlife Habitat Appraisal. Change Order Amendment No. 1 for the amount of $12,000 was aprpoved to perform this work.
Change Order Amendment No. 2 for the amount of $6,000 provided for professional environmental consulting services in response to addressing additional requirements by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for the Lynn Creek Parkway Environmental Assessment.
This proposed Change Order Amendment No. 3 for the amount of $46,525 provides for developing a detailed mitigation plan to address mitigation needs for Lynn Creek Parkway. Other services included in this amendment is the finalization of the environmental assessment and addressing of public comments obtained from the upcoming public comment period.
Financial Consideration
Funding for Change Order 3 in the amount of $46,525 is available in the Streets Capital Projects Fund (400192) WO #07704301-03 (Lynn Creek Pkwy - Lakeridge to SH360). Upon approval, the revised total professional contract amount will be $113,625.
