Recommended Action
On December 10, 2015 the City awarded a design contract to Multatech Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $44,975 to provide design services for engineering construction plans to construct approximately 1000 linear feet of 24" to 36" storm drainage relief system in Phillips Court from Phillips Circle to Clifton Court as recommended in the 2012 City Wide Drainage Master Plan study of the Cottonwood Creek and Lakeview Area of the City.

Based on input from the Street Division and in anticipation of pavement replacement as part of the sales tax program, this design contract amendment provides additional engineering services to design water and wastewater improvements in Phillips Court to include 930 linear feet of 8” water line replacement in Phillips Court from Brent Court to SE 4th Street for $16,865 and 1,110 linear feet of 8” to 18” wastewater line replacements in Phillips Court from SW 3rd Street to Jackson Street and from Clifton Court to SE 4th Street for $18,095. Additional design services is also provided to provide 2D drainage modeling for determining the best sizing and alignment of the storm drainage improvements in Phillips Court for $11,580. Total amendment amount - $46,540.
