Analysis

This Standard Texas Department of Transportation (TxDot) Utility Agreement will provide for the relocation of Waterline at Palace parkway and proposed Westbound IH-30 frontage road; it also provides for wastewater manhole adjustments. This work will be constructed by TxDot contractor as part of the IH-30 westbound frontage roads construction contract. All costs associated with this project are 100% reimbursable.

These City water and wastewater utilities are requiring relocation due to conflicts with the upcoming project to be let by TxDot for construction of a three lane frontage road along the north side of Interstate 30 from NW 7th St. to Belt Line Rd.

Construction for the relocation of City of Grand Prairie water and wastewater utilities is expected to begin in summer 2018 with duration of approximately four months to complete this work depending on weather.

Financial Consideration

All expenses incurred will be paid by the Texas Department of Transportation. No expenses will be incurred by the City of Grand Prairie.
