Analysis

This contract is for the support and maintenance of both our TEST and PROD Lawson environments. This contract is needed so that we continue to have a support vendor that is able to assist us with the technical configuration and administration components of the Lawson software.

Notice of bid #19139 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 34 vendors. There were 2 Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity.  Two bids were received as shown on attachment A.

The award was based on best value criteria set up in the specification, including material markup, reputation, quality of service, price, past relationship with the city and other municipalities, if they were local, and other relevant criteria as listed in the specification.

Simacor meets specifications and is recommended for award.
