Analysis
The City of Grand Prairie is entering into a partnership agreement with TxDOT for the bridge replacement/renovation of Duncan Perry Road Bridge over Johnson Creek.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is undertaking the bridge replacement and bridge renovations as part of the Federal Off-System Bridge Program Project . The City of Grand Prairie owns one or more bridges on a public road or street located at Duncan Perry Road over Johnson Creek, and these bridges are included in the Rehabilitation Program (HBRRP) as authorized by Texas Transportation Commission Minute Order Number 115291, dated 8/30/2019. TxDOT has requested that the City of Grand Prairie participate as a funding partner.
The City of Grand Prairie's contribution of $193,704 is requested per the LPAFA towards the bridge replacement/renovation at Duncan Perry Road Bridge over Johnson Creek. At the current time, only $24,031 is requested from the City. This will be ten percent (10%) or EDC Adjusted percent of professional engineering cost of the Duncan Perry Road Bridge project.
Financial Consideration
Funding for an ordinance amending the FY 2018/2019 Capital Improvement Projects Budget for the Local Project Advanced Funding Agreement (LPAFA) with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for bridge replacement of the Duncan Perry Road Bridge over Johnson Creek as part of the Federal Off-System Bridge Program Project, in the amount of $24,031 is available by transferring and appropriating from the unobligated fund balance in the Streets C...
