Analysis

On February 6, 2018 the City Council of Grand Prairie approved an expenditure for a new scoreboard and signage LED wall for the Airhogs Stadium.  This purchase depleted all of the available budget for FY 2017/2018.  Therefore, at this time the City Manager's Office is wanting to amend the current budget by adding $250,000 from the unobligated fund balance for miscellaneous future expenditures.  At this time a main water heater needs to be replaced.

Financial Consideration

Funding for the additional expenditures for the Baseball field, in the amount of $250,000, is available by approving an ordinance transferring and appropriating from the unobligated fund balance in the Baseball Fund (3173-317992-68540)

Body

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS:

SECTION 1.  THAT THE FY 2017/2018 Baseball Fund be amended by approving an ordinance transferring and appropriating $250,000 from the unobligated fund balance in the Baseball Fund (3173-317992-68540).
