Analysis
In November 2014, the City of Grand Prairie issued a Request for Proposal #15024 to find a vendor for traffic signal/fiber optic ground boxes that are needed to act as  access points to repair and install traffic signal and fiber optic cable within the City.

Notice of bid #15024 was viewed by 13 vendors on BidSync. There were no Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity.  One bid was received as shown on attachment A.

The low bid received from Techline meets specifications and is recommended for award.

Financial Consideration
Funding for the price agreement with Techline is available in FY 2014/2015 General Fund Budget, Signal Maintenance 251310-63125. Funding for future years will be paid from that year's approved budget.
