Title: Price Agreement for landscaping maintenance from LandWorks (up to $42,866 annually) for one year with the option to renew for four additional one year periods totaling $214,330 if all extensions are exercised; award a secondary to Hancock Glen, Inc. Analysis
This contract is for landscaping maintenance to include mowing, irrigation system inspections and repairs, minor vegetation replacement and mulching of designated areas at the Kirby Creek Nature Center, Prairie Paws Adoption Center, Environmental Field Office and Grand Prairie Landfill.

Notice of bid #19119 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 28 vendors. There were three Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Three bids were received as shown on attachment A.

The award was based on best value criteria set up in the specification, including material markup, reputation, quality of service, price, past relationship with the city and other municipalities, if they were local, and other relevant criteria as listed in the specification.

Both LandWorks and Hancock Glen Inc meet specifications and are recommended for award.

The secondary vendor, Hancock Glen Inc, will only be used if the primary vendor cannot fulfill the needs of the City.
