Analysis

Field observations reveal deficiencies with the pavement approach slabs and erosion of the bridge abutments for the Mirabella Boulevard bridge over Bowman Branch. Field observations for South Carrier Parkway over Kirby Creek Tributary revealed erosion in and around the box culverts, as well as damage to the sidewalks and guard rails.

 

Cobb Fendley & Associates, Inc. will provide Professional Engineering services for the design plans, specifications, estimates, and related documents for the bridge at Mirabella Boulevard and the box culvert on South Carrier Parkway.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding for a new contract with Cobb Fendley & Associates, Inc. Engineering in the amount of $111,300 is available in the Streets Capital Projects Fund (400192), WO# 01908203 (FY19 City Bridges), 68450 (Engineering Designs).
