Price Agreement #13093 for elevator preventative maintenance, monitoring and repairs with Texas Independent Elevator Co, for a 1 year contract with 4 one-year renewal options, at an estimated annual cost of $9,994.00, with an initial potential value of $49,970.00 was awarded by City Manager on July 26, 2013. A change order for a one-time charge of $213.95 was executed on October 18, 2013 increasing the initial term value $10,207.95 for a total potential value of $50,183.95 if all renewal options are exercised. Renewal 1 for $9,994.00 was executed on June 2, 2014. A change order of ($50.00) was executed on June 30, 2014 reducing the current term value to $9,944.00 for a total potential value of $49,983.95* if all renewal options are exercised. The cumulative value of these change orders plus future renewal options have exceed the City Managers approval of $50,000 and therefore, City Council approval is being requested to allow City Manager to execute the current and any future available renewal options:
