Analysis
As part of the FY 2011 CIP the City Council approved this drainage project.
The project is to provide an enclosed drainage system according to current City standards and criteria along 1000 Block of Cook Drive to then extend east along a vacant tract and then extend north along the Mill Valley apartments to connect to an existing storm drainage system at Tarrant Road.
A proposal has been received from Dunaway Consulting Engineers for this work and Staff is recommending a contract in the amount of $40,880 for the preparation of Engineering Plans and specification to include construction and bidding services.
The design is anticipated to be complete by march 2011 with bidding and construction to follow.

Funding in the amount of $42,924 is available in Storm Capital Project Fund (401592) WO #01102203 (1001 Block of Cook Drive)
